(Example: At one o'clock the bird will cuckoo once. At eight o'clock the bird will cuckoo eight times). The cuckoo recording is from an actual wild cuckoo bird. Although this clock cuckoos there is no cuckoo bird. The sound automatically shuts off between 9:01 PM and 5:59 AM. Requires one AA size battery to operate (not included).Great effort has been made to portray each clock as accurately as possible.
