It is constructed from 2” diameter 12 gauge heavy duty steel and has a 600 pound weight limit. The critical elbow joint is made using the 360-degree Right Connection™ superior welding process. This weld joint has been rigorously tested and has been found to be the strongest available. The installed spring pins prevent unintentional disassembly of the stand yet allow it to be easily taken apart for storage or transportation. The stand is coated with the Cape Shield™ finishing process only from Hatteras Hammocks. Cape Shield is a special process of cleaning, preparing, and powder coating the stand to make it weather resistant and give you many years of enjoyment.
