Tales collections are unique ornamental wall décor rooted in the rich culture of Asia. As early as 200 BC, during the Han Dynasty, artists commemorated historic events on stone plates. Inspired by these great works of art, Tales partners with various artists around the world and National Palace Museum in Taiwan to create square and rectangle ornamental stone wall tiles that are anchored in ancient tradition and attuned to modern life. The textured base gives these stone wall tiles their solid look and feel, which is gracefully contrasted by the carved, embossed, and painted surfaces with their exquisite design and oriental beauty. Tales collections was selected by Ambiente 2008 for entry into Trend Forum, where the selected products were demonstrating the most presentable concepts to be created in matching demands of future trend. Tales collections come in the size of 7-7/8 inches high by 5-7/8" inches wide by 1 inch thick. It weights about 3 pounds and varies with each series. Each wall tile comes with an easy-mount slot, the origin of its cultural and artistic story, and a certifying hologram sticker showing the identifying serial number.
